The school features three BAS options.
Applied Baccalaureate Degrees
- Bachelor of Applied Science in Hospitality Management
- Bachelor of Applied Science in Professional Technical Teacher Education
- Bachelor of Applied Science in Sustainable Building Science Technology
The Bachelor of Applied Science (BAS) in Hospitality Management program will prepare students who have completed AAS-T degrees in Accounting, Business Information Technology, Culinary, or other related areas of study for management level positions in the hospitality industry. Students will learn and explore management, marketing and human resource positions in all facets of the hospitality field, including tourism, hotel operations, restaurant management, catering, cruise ships operations, casino operations and travel.
The Bachelor of Applied Science (BAS) in Professional Technical Teacher Education (Teach Tech) program prepares students who have completed a two-year technical degree or approved associate degree and have a minimum of 2 years related work experience for technical teaching positions in business, apprenticeship and at community or technical colleges.
The Bachelor of Applied Science (BAS) in Sustainable Building Science Technology (SBST) program prepares students who have completed an apprenticeship program, a two-year technical degree or approved associate degree and have 2-5 years of related work experience with commercial and residential high performance buildings.
